Worker guide
From accepted to paid: evidence, review and cash-out
On a standard bounty, confirm your seat, do the work and press “Submit evidence”. The poster has four days to review; no decision opens a dispute. Approved work shows “Approved · release pending”. Once payment is released it shows “Paid” and lands in Earnings; cash out after payout verification.

Steps
- 1
Confirm your seat
Acceptance holds a seat for you. Confirm it in time, then start within the time shown.
- 2
Capture proof as you go
Take the photos, recordings or notes the bounty asks for while you work. Evidence must be real and from this task.
- 3
Submit evidence
Press “Submit evidence”. The status moves to “Evidence in review” and the four-day review window starts.
- 4
Handle a redo if asked
If the poster requests changes, redo the part they name and submit again before the deadline shown.
- 5
Cash out
When payment is released it shows as “Paid” and lands in Earnings. Finish payout verification, then cash out.
- 6
Archive settled history if you want
In My Jobs, an eligible item in “Past jobs” has “Archive”. Open “View archived” to see it again or press “Restore”. Outstanding work, payment or disputes cannot be archived.
Illustrative only — for an imagined “assemble a bookshelf” bounty.
- Before you leave: one wide photo of the finished shelf in place, one close-up of the wall anchor, one of the cleared work area.
- Match the list to the bounty’s “Required evidence” — nothing staged, edited or reused from another job.
What is true today
- On standard bounties, when you are accepted you confirm your seat, start within the time shown, then submit evidence. “Missed deadlines release your seat to other applicants.”
- On a standard bounty you finish with “Submit evidence”, and the poster then has four days to review it.
- On standard bounties the poster can approve your evidence, reject it or request a redo, with up to three redos. Approved work shows “Approved · release pending” until payment is released, then “Paid”.
- On a standard bounty, if the four-day review window ends with no decision, RentAHuman opens a dispute so its team reviews the work; bounty payment is not released automatically.
- Released pay lands in Earnings. “You can only cash out earnings”, and paying out to a bank needs payout verification — for Stripe, “Complete Stripe verification to enable payouts to your bank.”
- Worker onboarding checks the country you select. Some countries cannot join paid work. Bolivia, Brazil, Belarus, Chile, South Korea, Laos and Nepal can complete worker onboarding, but bank cash-outs are not available there yet. China is not available for worker onboarding. The location and apply screens show the current result for every other country.
- In My Jobs, eligible settled work and ended applications can be moved out of “Past jobs” with “Archive”, opened again under “View archived”, and returned with “Restore”. Jobs with outstanding work, payment or disputes must stay visible. Archiving keeps messages and payment records.

What this doesn’t promise
- Pay is released for work the poster approves or that is resolved in your favour, not for every submission.
- These steps describe standard RentAHuman bounties. Specialized programs, such as RentAKaren negotiations, have their own eligibility and settlement rules.
- Payout timing after cash-out depends on your payout provider and bank.
- Bank cash-outs are not available yet in Bolivia, Brazil, Belarus, Chile, South Korea, Laos or Nepal.
